News About Town: Put on your shaggin’ shoes, the Matthews Summer Concert Series continues this Friday with beach music from Blackwater Band. Dinner-fare and dessert food trucks open at 5pm and the music starts at 6pm. No tickets are needed. Don’t forget to pencil in July 3 for the 4th of July Concert featuring The Tim Clark Band.
News Around Town: Tonight’s your last chance to catch the Charlotte Independence at the Sportsplex when they host Charleston. Independence moved to the Sportsplex in 2017, their fourth home since their inaugural season in 2015, with the intention of moving to American Legion Memorial Stadium.
