News Around Town: COVID Vaccines are available to Mecklenburg County residents ages 75+ starting tomorrow, January 6. Due to the limited number of vaccines available, appointments are required. To make an appointment you may register online or call the hotline. The clinic will be based at Bojangle’s Coliseum, 2700 East Independence Blvd., Charlotte, from 8:30 am to 4 ,pm Monday through Saturday.

Eligible residents may register online or call the hotline at 980-314-9400 (choose Option 3) to make an appointment.

At your appointment you will be asked for your name and date of birth. There is no specific form of ID required. More information can be found on the county website.

One Good Thing: Assistance is available for Mecklenburg County residents struggling with utility payments. The County is offering relief funds for past due water, electric, and gas bills. Visit rampclt.com for more information and for an application.
