In Your Nature: Ponderings of a Carolina Piedmont Naturalist author, Dr. Steven Fields, will speak at the HAWK meeting on the Natural History of the Piedmont.
Dr. Fields is curator of natural history for the Culture and Heritage Museums of York County, where he has worked since 1986.
He is also adjunct faculty in the Biology Department at Winthrop University, where he has served as an instructor since 1997, and York Technical College, where he has taught online courses since 2013.
Dr. Fields earned Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in biology from Winthrop University and a Ph.D. in integrative biology from the University of South Carolina.
