Community Action Poverty Simulation, on Saturday, October 27 from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Morning Star Lutheran Church, 12509 Idlewild Road, Matthews. Lunch provided. Spend a simulated month in poverty as experienced by individuals and their families. This interactive event promotes poverty awareness, increases understanding and inspires local change.
